Yeah well, as always it took a lot longer for me to catch up with what I promised.
The first great event I’m referring to was the concert of Eddie Palmieri in the Jazzclub ‘Moods’ in Zürich. (10. Okt.)
What a concert! I was very impressed. Under the name of ‘Afro-Caribbean Jazz All Stars’ seven unbelievable musicians rocked the house for two hours.
Specially to be mentioned the out-of-this-world drummer Horacio ‘El Negro’ Hernandez, the saxophonist Craig Handy and on the trumpet Brian Lynch, who both were amazing in all of their numerous soli.

The second event was the party ‘Kings of the Jungle’ at the Rohstofflager also in Zürich the following weekend, featuring Potential Bad Boy and DJ Hype. Different day, definitely totally different sh**! This was probably the best Drum’n’Bass party I’ve ever been to! came home around 7 a.m. 🙂
