Photography and travelling are the inspiration for this site. I travelled for 11 month from august 2001 to july 2002 after graduating from high school. After this great experience I decided to share my photographic work. Unforunately this is taking a long time, since I did not have yet a digital camera back then, thus I’m still fighting to get the stacks of slides scanned. Entered the world of digital SLR in 2007, which doesn’t help to accelerate this project…
I got into photography through a summer camp, which was combined with photography and led by a professional photographer. Some more camps and courses followed, where I acquired my basic skills. I’d call myself an ambitious amateur photographer. Born in Fribourg, Switzerland in 1981, we moved to Berne two years later, where I grew up and went to school. I graduated from high school in spring 2001 and left for the big adventure in summer.
After getting back in summer 2002, I started studying chemistry at the Swiss Federal Institue of Technology Zurich (ETH Zurich) and therefore moved to Zurich. I received my Bachelor of Science in Autumn 2007 and graduated in Management, Technology, and Economics also at the ETH Zurich three years later. I’m currently living in Zurich and work in global procurement for the beverage industry.
